Mount Takao (高尾山 Takao-san) Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan

 

Hi guys,

I went to Mont Takao. I went with my mom, Mentari and Mutiara. In case you don't know it Mutiara and Mentari are I will tell you: Mentari is my friend from Indonesia and Mutiara is her mom who is also friends with my mom! When we arrived at Takao san (mont takao in japanese) it was really hot and there where a lot of people. There is a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops. We were walking and then we saw a stand with two people with an aquarium that were grilling fish. Mutiara bought some kind of biscuits that were delicious. The poor fish!!! We ate the fish which was good! We walked a long time. While we were walking we say some people doing like a dance show and I thing it is a traditional dance because third grade did the same dance and the same music at last years sports day! We took a cable car to go up the mountain! It was so scary because me and Mentari went at the front and we can see down! We watched it a little bit and then continued walking and walking and walking and walking! We also saw a temple and read our horoscopes, prayed.... We still kept walking! At one time there was like this huge stairs that were like sssssooooooo long!!! It took us a long time to climb up the stairs but I run so I was first but rrrreeeaaallllyyyy tired!!!

We continued walking, then went walking the other way. I tried something to eat but it was disgusting! Sorry! Mentari's mom tried something like a sour juice or something like that and she didn't like it either! Its so funny because its so sour that her face was like uuuugh uuughhh! You know that sensation when you eat lemon without anything else. Its like sssssuuuu suuuuu. We go down the mountain in a cable car too. Going down is the scariest! There was also a lot more people then before. We had trouble finding the exit but we finally got it and went home. Long Day!
