Paris, my city

Hi guys,

Now that I'm back in Paris for Summer vacation I think it's time I wrote a post about it. Plus, I saw on TV that it was the #1 tourist destination for this Summer. Also for this post I will use only black and white images to change and Paris is so nice that even without bright colors it is still nice.

Paris is the capital of France. It's in the north of France and in the region called Ile-de-France. It has about 2,200,000 inhabitants. It has a huge influence in fashion and art and it's also where the French Revolution happened. Most of the major French companies are headquartered in Paris. It has tons of museums, cinemas and monuments! Paris is the capital of style especially we have “haute couture” and Paris Fashion Week! :p

The Stade de France built for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, is located in Saint-Denis. Paris was the host of the 1900 and 1994 Summer Olympics, the 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cup and the 2007 Rugby World Cup. It has two airports: Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

Walking in Paris is very nice but you probably won't be able to resist all the cafés and shops for a long time.

The best places to see in Paris are The Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomphe and the Notre Dame Cathedral. If you want to go to The Louvre, you should plan at least two visits because it is HUGE! The Galleries Lafayette is also a good place to go to. It's a big department store. Paris disneyland is also one of the most visited places in Europe. There are tons of shows and attractions so you could also go there.
