November 5 2017
I can't believe it's almost the end of 2017! There are only two months left and I've been doing a lot of thinking about my year in high school so here are some of my reflections.
Home to me is where my loved ones are. Because I've lived in so many different places, I think that home is not necessary a location but a feeling of comfort and peacefulness that you may get. I feel at home in Tokyo, in Paris, in Karuizawa and many more places because of the people around me who make me feel comfortable in those places.
10 years later?
In 10 years, I see myself having grown mentally, with more life experience. I see myself traveling and working. I will hopefully be more independent and be doing something that makes me happy.
What did I learn in high school?
ISAK has given me an education that gives me a lot of choices. Through various experiences here I've learned more about who I am and what my passions are. Most importantly I think that ISAK has given me the opportunity to surround myself with people who are driven and who empower me. When I leave this tiny bubble of amazing people, I hope to keep their spirit with me and continue to be as passionate wherever I go.
What message would I tell my graduating class?
To my fellow g12's, I love you all and I wish you all the best wherever you will go next year.
